A Place to Pray

We need to pray—for prayer gives a clean heart and a clean heart can see God in each person. If we see God in others, naturally, we will love one another as God loves each one of us.” -Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa House is a Catholic home which welcomes and joyfully serves people of any or no faith background. Volunteer caregivers are also from varied faith backgrounds.  Praying is a part of our life at Mother Teresa House, but guests are never required to pray.  The Mother Teresa House community holds all guests in prayer and guests and caregivers are invited to pray along with us if they are comfortable doing so.  Sometimes that prayer is simply the silence of being present with our guests in some of their most trying moments.  Holy Mass is celebrated in our upstairs chapel every third Friday of the month.

The love of Christ continues to inspire the mission of our home.  This love is a love with open arms to all those whom we have the privilege to meet and to serve.
