This whole room is for me? The people are so nice here it’s scary.

Ethel, an older woman with a heart condition, said often,

You’re just like kin.

Words from Family and Friends

Thank you so much for all you did for our friend-she was so happy there. What a very special place you are. God Bless you all!

Sometimes a family needs that extra special touch that only people who really care can give. We found that in each of you who helpted. It lifted our burden and lightened our load. It provided a comfortable solution in a trying time. We do thank you so very much!

To all at Mother Teresa House: Thank you for of your kindness, love, care and devotion.

To all the beautiful people at Mother Teresa House: Thank you, thank you, thank you…don’t have enough time or paper or money to offer for the special care and love you had for my precious Mom. God Bless and keep on.

Our family cannot express in words how much comfort you gave us in the few hours that John spent in your loving arms. He went to heaven wrapped in a mantel of love from his family and with all of you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

In appreciation of your gracious care and couragemous volunteerism in the care of the terminally ill including the three days of care provided to my father. I very much regret having ignored that naffing intuition which came with a startled wake-up at 4am on that final Sunday morning, but I am very grateful that another sailor was there to see my dad shove-off for the last time. I cannot speak for my dad, but I can tell you that I certainly felt a comfort at Mother Teresa House which I have not ever sensed at other facilities – Thank you!
